To Everyone Who Had Left Mark in the Internet Before
Thank you for writing something and leaving it up.
Today, like many times before, I felt the urge to check something and stumbled upon informative blog posts about that specific thing in a blog that is no longer maintained. The blogger has one last post explaining their absence owing to real-life change of situation (marriage and motherhood), a closure you don't often get.
I'm reminded of the shrines, sites, blogs, galleries people built and abandoned and still bring joy or knowledge to people who discovers them later, all of us putting letters in bottles we let adrift in this vast asynchronous ocean.
It's easy to rebut that hateful contents too, are abound in similar ways, and they deserve to be purged and buried and forgotten in the annals of time. They are, but I'd like to shift the spotlight to things people make earnestly, that have touched and will touch someone else. Post what you have percolating in your minds for months. Write down that niche knowledge you don't think anyone else would be interested in. Show us the cool stuff you've been working on.
Thank you from me in the past, present, and future.
